“Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” Luke 20:25
Caligula, the legendary figure of ancient Rome, harbors numerous secrets, including an alleged secret chamber and a plethora of erotic tales. In ancient sources such as the works of Suetonius and Cassius Dio, narratives exist regarding Caligula’s architectural ambitions, including the construction of a special secret chamber within his palace. Although the exact location and function of this chamber remain unknown, ancient writers have proposed various theories, suggesting purposes ranging from sexual to religious.
Caligula’s sexual life is also surrounded by inflated anecdotes. Ancient writers make numerous claims, including allegations of incest, prostitution, and orgies. However, these assertions often serve as exaggerations or components of political attacks, casting doubt on their credibility. Modern scholars debate the extent to which these claims reflect real events or were part of political propaganda against the emperor.
Linking the secret chamber with sexual behavior offers an intriguing approach to understanding the fascination with Caligula and the legends surrounding him. It is conceivable that the chamber indeed facilitated sexual activities or other intimate practices, perhaps serving as a clandestine meeting place for the emperor and his lovers or other selected individuals. If the chamber did exist, it raises numerous questions about courtly life in ancient Rome and power dynamics.
The tales about Caligula’s sexual life may be part of a larger narrative that served as political attacks or entertainment for contemporaries. The image of Caligula left to us by ancient sources is often contradictory and dubious, intertwined with later-added legends and myths. Ultimately, the portrayal of Caligula and his deeds reflects a profound human curiosity and desire to understand the nature of ancient power and the motivations behind the dissemination of such stories.

The extremely varied shapes, colors and textures of flowers have always been a deep source of inspiration for my paintings. Each flower, with its unique structure and delicate shape, offers an endless range of creative possibilities. The intricate petals, vibrant hues and varied patterns found in flowers are testament to nature’s artistic talent, offering a rich palette for any artist.
One of the most fascinating qualities of flowers is their ability to convey a wide range of emotions and moods. For example, a bouquet of bright sunflowers can create a feeling of warmth and happiness, reminiscent of sunny days and happy moments. Conversely, a somber arrangement of dark lilies can evoke sadness or introspection, reflecting darker occasions.
The emotional resonance of flowers goes beyond their physical beauty. We often associate flowers with significant life events such as weddings, birthdays and anniversaries. These connections give flowers a deeper meaning and make them powerful symbols in our lives. When painting flowers, I capture not only their visual essence, but also the emotions and memories they represent. This duality gives depth and complexity to my works, turning each piece into a narrative full of personal and universal stories.
Through my art, I strive to capture not only the appearance of these beautiful plants, but also the profound effect they have on our hearts and minds.

I inherited the love of nature from my family. As small children, we often visited nature and admired the changing seasons. These early experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the beauty and complexity of nature. These experiences fueled a lifelong passion for nature that continues to influence my creative endeavors.
Given this background, it’s no wonder that animals and other natural elements also inspire me. The grace of a deer in the woods, the gentle rustling of a butterfly’s wings, the intricate patterns of a spider web glistening with morning dew—all these moments capture my imagination and find their way into my art. I take great pleasure in capturing these scenes, whether through painting or photography, as they represent the harmony and beauty of the natural world.
Natural elements such as trees, mountains, rivers and flowers also play a significant role in my work. The massive texture of the tree bark, the gentle bend of the river’s path, the imposing silhouette of the mountain range at sunset – all these features create a feeling of connection to the land. They remind us of the timeless rhythm of nature and our place in it. By incorporating these elements into my art, I want to create pieces that resonate with viewers on a deep emotional level, reminding them of the beauty and fragility of the world around us.
My goal in painting is to celebrate the natural world and inspire others to see its beauty and value. I trust that my work will inspire others to discover nature, to nurture and preserve its wonders. The inspiration drawn from animals and natural elements testifies to the deep impact nature has on our lives, shaping not only our environment, but also our creativity and imagination.

The pictures of the quiet harbor and the ship come to life through the softness and colors of the watercolor technique, evoking the tranquility of nature and moments of silence.
The painting radiates peace and harmony and enchants the viewer with the delicate dance of ships and water. Each brushstroke conveys a sense of calm and balance, as if time itself has stopped to admire the scene. Soft hues blend seamlessly to create a harmonious palette that reflects the harbor’s natural beauty and quiet elegance.
The interplay of light and shadow gives depth and dimension, drawing the viewer into the calm world depicted in the painting. The boats swaying gently in the harbor seem almost ethereal, their shapes softly outlined by the play of sunlight and water. This serene composition invites the viewer to experience a moment of stillness, breathe in the stillness, and appreciate the simple yet profound beauty of nature in watercolor.
In this creation, the essence of the harbor is not only visible but also felt, as the subtle textures and subtle color transitions evoke a sense of peace and well-being. The viewer is taken to a place where the hustle and bustle of everyday life fades away, replaced by the soothing rhythm of the sea and the timeless elegance of resting ships. This is the magic of watercolor – a medium that breathes life into scenes of nature, capturing their physical beauty and serenity.

In my Dancer series, the coordinated descriptive display of the dancers is perfectly reflected. The grace and poise of the dancers is a great inspiration to me.
In the drawing, I sensitively tried to capture the nuances of personality and mood, the depth of their disciplined yet coordinated movements, which truly express their connection, bringing the dancers’ souls and spirituality to life.

n this series, I drew some really amazing people. I wanted it through my drawings, it gives a glimpse of their true individuality, through my way of seeing. In today’s fast-paced world, we almost just slip past each other, there is no time to linger and look someone in the eye for a long time. Let’s look into the endless sea of his soul, let’s bathe in it. These moments were captured in these graphite and charcoal drawings. If we listen and surrender ourselves to our perception for a few minutes, concrete stories emerge behind a drawing that I preserved on paper.
