ANIMAL INSPIRATION

Discover nature inspiration

I inherited the love of nature from my family. As small children, we often visited nature and admired the changing seasons. These early experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the beauty and complexity of nature. These experiences fueled a lifelong passion for nature that continues to influence my creative endeavors.

Given this background, it’s no wonder that animals and other natural elements also inspire me. The grace of a deer in the woods, the gentle rustling of a butterfly’s wings, the intricate patterns of a spider web glistening with morning dew—all these moments capture my imagination and find their way into my art. I take great pleasure in capturing these scenes, whether through painting or photography, as they represent the harmony and beauty of the natural world.

Natural elements such as trees, mountains, rivers and flowers also play a significant role in my work. The massive texture of the tree bark, the gentle bend of the river’s path, the imposing silhouette of the mountain range at sunset – all these features create a feeling of connection to the land. They remind us of the timeless rhythm of nature and our place in it. By incorporating these elements into my art, I want to create pieces that resonate with viewers on a deep emotional level, reminding them of the beauty and fragility of the world around us.

My goal in painting is to celebrate the natural world and inspire others to see its beauty and value. I trust that my work will inspire others to discover nature, to nurture and preserve its wonders. The inspiration drawn from animals and natural elements testifies to the deep impact nature has on our lives, shaping not only our environment, but also our creativity and imagination.

mongol man

The charcoal drawing shows a Mongolian man on a horse through a game of contrasts and shadows. The lines of the man’s face are roughened, however, the contrast between the general blurring of the charcoal drawing clearly shows the man’s origin, his Mongolian origin.

He proudly rides his horse, which is his faithful friend on the harsh steppes, which inspired the picture.

The finer nuances of the charcoal drawing allowed me to play with shadows and light, evoking the harsh and harsh Mongolian landscape.

In the charcoal drawing, he presents the elephant close to man through the play of contrasts and shadows.  The drawing exudes calmness, the man is rough, yet his close relationship with the elephant is perfectly visible in his posture.

The connection between animals and humans is very clear, they almost blend into the landscape.

The finer shades of the charcoal drawing allowed me to play with shadows and lights, evoking the hot climate of Africa, the magnificent landscape with Kilimanjaro in the background.

In the charcoal drawing, he presents the fawns about to be slaughtered through the play of contrasts and shadows. The drawing exudes prepared tension, yet the animals are in the picture as a familiar couple.

The tense excitement caused by the wedding dance is very clearly visible in the picture.

The finer nuances of the charcoal drawing allowed me to play with shadows and light, evoking the tranquility of lush, lush fields.

firedance

EUR 19000

Through the charcoal drawing, I brought this mystical fire dance to life with the play of contrasts and shadows. People dance around the huge flames, engrossed and enraptured, almost immersed in another world.

The plants on the edge of the drawing seem to dance, following the rhythm of the fire and the dancers. The whole scene is full of tension, but still the people in the picture move in harmony, complementing each other.

The enraptured state of the dancers appears captivating, the energy emanating from their movements is almost palpable. The subtle shades of charcoal gave me the opportunity to use shadows and lights to capture the magic and mystique of the ritual dance.
